March 1st - A critical piece. Even though I will most likely employ 75% of the listed techniques.

March 2nd - What did I say? Sketchy block type. Just some experiments.

March 3rd - I always loved the shape of stains that coffee cups make, so I tried shaping letters with a cup.

March 4th - A humble tribute to the inspiring Pelican book covers.

March 5th - Another one. This piece speaks for itself. :p

March 9th - I wanted to do something cool but then decieded not to.

March 10th - Continuing the quilt from February 27th/28th.

March 11th - Part 4 of my Infinistration, will show the entire thing when it is done.

March 12th - First original piece created on my MacBook Pro. Conceptual.

March 13th - I heard this is the next big thing.

March 14th - Some more angry typographic experimentation.

March 15th - Another typographic experiment. Double sided adhesive tape and sugar pearls.

March 16th - Playing some more with materials and typography.

March 17th - I finally caught up! Typographic scrap and sketches from the last few days.

March 18th - To succesfully establish a daily routine, just follow this timetable. Simple Typography again.

March 19th - From infinite possibilities to one unique creation.

March 20th - Yes. The creative business ain't easy.

March 21st - Big 22 today!

March 22nd - Type sketches and scrap from this week.

March 23rd - Trying out those glossy and glowing styles. That's what a design workout is for I guess.

March 24th - Jazz visualized and interpreted in colors.

March 25th - Playing with Typography again. Stencils and spraypaint.

March 27th - Sorry for the lack of ideas lately, but I always got my sketchpad with me. :)

March 28th - Hand drawn type and a nonsense-illustration. Mööp is the german honking sound.

March 29th - Telefancy! A running gag we got going at work that depends on the caller ID.

March 30th - Toying around in Illustrator. I love that blocky style, it's like playing Tetris.

March 31st - A rather relaxed month for me, considering I was on spring break.

April 1st - A+ Student Training, first in a row of logos done for practice.

April 2nd - Very traditional logo done for practice again.

April 3rd - Carl's Coffee! Sketching around a bit, definitely a work in progress.

April 4th - digital.crate records. OMG! 90s Techno is back! Greetings to TDR.

April 5th - ECO»IT. Today I focused on the visual language of the brand rather than the logotype.

April 6th - Fancy Footwork Dancing School - Definitely Chromeo inspired, my 60 minute time limit saved me from a seizure, too.

April 7th - Green Suburbia Gardening Service - Focusing on the concept here.

April 8th - Hot Dough Cookies! This brand would probably live entirely off pot-heads...

April 9th - I thought it was about time these guys started representing a bit.

April 10th - For the letter J I did some random calligraphic sketches which are my intitals or name.

April 11th - KLICK - Mobile Indulgence. Not sure which product this company would be selling but I had this idea...

April 12th - The Lucullan - Restaurant. Simple and classic.

April 13th - Mega Mart. More of a critical statement against visual pollution than a logo.

April 14th - I hereby present you the concept of nothing. along with a few explanatory snippets. Don't call them - they call you!

April 15th - Onomatopoeia is ony of my favourite words, the endless amount of vowels at the end flows so nicely.

April 16th - I somehow got stuck on the speechbubble-thing. Not intended since I always start off finding a word to work with. :)

April 17th - Definitely work in progress. Sketching around with cubes and geometric shapes.

April 18th - Registered - Brand Building. The idea was to reverse the role of the registered mark and the company name.

April 19th - Work in Progress - Inspired by Asamovs Oldschool Boom Bap!

April 20th - Transcon. Not much to say to this... I like blocks, boxes and arrows.

April 21st -

April 22nd - Brandsketch for the letter V. The idea was to display the concept of beauty in a rational way.

April 23rd - A technically simple conceptual work for people who find stuff (not google). yes I'm a little burned out

April 24th - This is a real gap in the market! Apply today! No Pyramid scheme and instant PROFIT!

April 25th - Not to be taken too seriously. Kind of expresses my current mood. Moving on.

April 26th - I finally made it from A - Z! This one is mainly a photoshop playaround.

April 27th - Free vector cardboard boxes! I dare to say that these are even more useful then the vector wood! Check the Downloads Section!

April 28th - I remixed this months logo project and made it into an alphabet. I guess I just love making thumbnails.

April 29th - I thought the ECO IT brandsketch I did was one of the strongest, so I pushed it a little further.

April 30th - My time statistics for April. The logo project was intesne and I spent more time on it than I intended to.

May 1st - This month I'm trying my hands on character design. Starting off with some vector haircuts. ;)

May 2nd - Collected recent character sketches. I really need to practice but it's a lot of fun.

May 3rd - Evolution of the little pixel people. The nerdy character is based off a rigid grid.

May 4th - More sketches! I kind of got stuck on the blockheads but the style stills needs a lot of work. My brother did the blonde girl in the bottom right.

May 5th - Doodling in Illustrator. Playing with eyes and glasses.

May 6th - Mannfred and Horst.

May 7th - Skyscrapers! I am really struggling to find a style here...

May 8th - Took my sketching into Photoshop. One Layer, no erazer. How many faces can you spot?

May 9th - More square heads! What I learned from making these: Simple is better.

May 10th - Was sitting in the sun today sketching around, I think I am slowly getting the hang of it.

May 11th -I fell in love with the blockheads! Some more illustrated cubic head goodness.

May 12th - The Wayfarer II in vector format in 15 variations for you to download! Check the download section!

May 13th - I am really focusing on this style right now, sorry for the lack of variation lately but it just feels right :)

May 14th - I guess these are the first three finished block people. Lucy, that Guy and the prof.

May 15th - BIRDS!

May 16th - Had a busy today but I managed to do some character sketches.

May 17th - Self-portrait with clock. Thought I could use some practice. Template was a photo.

May 18th - I went back to the books and did some basic anatomy. Then gave it a techy flavour.

May 19th - I added muscular tissues and strings to the anatomical illustration and it somehow got out of control...

May 20th - I have to apologize today. I wanted to continue the anatomy series but got seriously distracted and this happened.

May 21st - Freehand study and some wild sketching. Felt somewhat liberating for some reason.

May 22nd - Mixing up the concept a bit here. The idea extractor.

May 23rd - Mixing up the concept of character design a little further. cut and paste fun!

May 24th - Serious Business! Freehand doodle colored with Photoshop.

May 25th - Catalogues and Mailings are such a waste of resources. Here is a good way to recycle them:

May 26th - The sad bunch - except for one - Marker drawing colored and textured in Photoshop.

May 27th - The Happy bunch! Markers + Photoshop again.

May 28th - Final piece of the series: The super bunch. It somehow went from sad to happy to hysteric. Nice.

May 29th - The Viking! Collaboration with Benne from Crack Entertainment, he drew the character and I colored it.

May 30th - Abstraction and Expansion. I love ink pens way too much.

May 31st - Statistics for May. No dramatic changes from last months statistics.

June 1st - This months theme will be “Photographic Expansion“. Which means photo experiments, collages, special effects and more wild stuff!

June 2nd - Sneak peak of a uni project I am working on with some fellow students. Letters made of cable and vinyl.

Reality vs Fake. Photo of a Set I shot for Jonas and Tobias, who had the idea. The image is not photoshopped!

Photography + C++ = This. Collab with audiophil. He ran a photo I shot through a C++ App he wrote, applied some black magic and this is the result!

June 5th - Kassel Galaxy! Collab with Christian Rudewig who shot and created the circular panoramas and I placed them in space.

June 6th - Quick and dirty photo manipulation. That is Hamburg + Berlin.

June 7th - More photomanipulation fun! Landscape shot by imaginaryfriend at photocase.

June 8th - Photographic experiment with long-time-exposure and a flashlight. 30 seconds and I was almost blind afterwards.

June 9th - Leftover of a recent project brushed up a bit. Aural impregnation.

June 10th - Experimental Polaroids. I love these things.

June 11th - Less experimental Polaroids, shot with an Polaroid AF 660.

June 12th - Lomography! I dug out an Holga shot from my archives and touched it up. Triple Exposure in 6x6.

June 13th - The beauty of used audio equipment.

June 14th - What the piece says. been taking it easy for my own benefit and took a break from the digital life today.

June 15th - Constructed Nature . Digital photo collage. I really feel like doing some more pieces in this style.

June 16th - Flying Island - Photomanipulation. This is really fun even though it is quite time-consuming.

June 18th - Lovely Lomography! Today I got five rolls of film developed and they are full of this multi-exposure messy beauty of visual poetry.

June 19th - Accidentally awesome double exposure shot with a Yashica FR-II and a 28mm lens.

June 20th - Visualizing sound - Photographic experiment with a tuning fork and different light sources.

June 21st - Semi-poetic photo collage. I enjoy doing these since they come straight from my sense of aesthetics but I am out of practice.

June 22nd - 50 Skies - Nothing more, nothing less. All overlayed with 2% saturation.

June 23rd - Speechless - Spontaneous and fun midnight photo session with Jonas and Tobias.

June 24th - A fresh pack of textures for you to download and use! 10 sky photos in different variations.

June 25th - One out of a million possibilities of what to do with the sky and cloud texture pack. ;)

June 26th - Visualizing Sound Part 2. Photgraphic experiment.

June 27th - Fun Photo-Scrap-Vector Collage.

June 28th - Final piece in the series "Visualizing Sound". This time drums and light.

June 29th - Photo-Vector-Type Collage that turned out to be almost a layout or spread. Pretty happy with this.

June 30th - Statistics for June. A very busy month. The "Other Stuff" part fell from 25 to 15 percent.

July 1st - Detail crop of a project Christian Rudewig shot the panoramas for and I did the composing. Original is 95,5x128cm

July 2nd - DONE at the Rundgang 2008 Exhibition at the Kunsthochschule Kassel.

July 3rd - Sneak peak of a top secret upcoming project.

July 4th - Hello in about 30 languages. Fun with handdrawn type.

July 5th - Work in progress. A short story set in the shape of a drop of water. Still needs refinement.

July 6th - My entry for the Coversutra record cover contest done for fun at supertopic.

July 7th - Home. Nothing more, nothing less.
